CAN 2.0: ACCELERATING THE IMPACT OF NEUROSCIENCE IN ALBERTA
Campus Alberta Neuroscience (CAN) is charting new territory with CAN 2.0: Accelerating the impact of neuroscience in Alberta. As the next phase in CAN’s evolution, this plan builds on current successes and brings CAN 2.0 to life through four main initiatives that focus on strengthening collaboration between neuroscience and mental health communities and developing training opportunities to accelerate innovation in neuroscience and improve health outcomes.
EXPERT REVIEW OF CAMPUS ALBERTA NEUROSCIENCE (2012-2016)
In October 2016, Campus Alberta Neuroscience (CAN) underwent an expert review to assess its work and impact to date and to inform future directions. We are pleased to make the results of this review available to the Alberta neuroscience and mental health community. CAN is working to incorporate the majority of the reviewer recommendations into the strategic framework for future development of the organization.
STATE OF KNOWLEDGE PRODUCTION IN NEUROSCIENCE IN ALBERTA
State of Knowledge Production in Neuroscience in Alberta was commissioned by CAN to provide a Bibliometric baseline of knowledge production and collaboration in Alberta neuroscience. It confirms that Alberta has significant neuroscience strengths in a national and international context and that there are opportunities for focus and collaboration to increase those strengths.
